New Delhi: Bhanzu, a math learning startup founded by world-record holder Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash, is set to receive a significant funding boost of Rs 130-140 crore from investors Epiq Capital and Z3Partners.
This investment comes as a positive sign for the Indian edtech sector, which has experienced a period of consolidation following the pandemic-driven boom. Bhanzu’s focus on a niche area within the broader edtech space has attracted investor interest, with the startup valuing itself at around $115-120 million.
The funds will be used to expand Bhanzu’s operations and reach, particularly in India and international markets like the US. The startup aims to leverage its innovative approach to math education to help students overcome their fear of the subject and develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts.
